FRIENDS IN NEED Animal Rescue is a haven for abandoned and abused animals. There are usually 100 to 120 animals being cared for at all times. About two-thirds of the animals find loving homes. However, the old, the handicapped, the sick, and those too traumatized by past abuses will never be placed. They will be cared for and remain at the FRIENDS IN NEED shelters to live out the rest of their lives.
This labor of love is made possible through the kindness and generosity of people like you. If you cannot adopt or sponsor an animal, perhaps you can come to visit the animals; they love attention and get very excited when people visit.
Monetary donations are always very welcome; however, other kinds of donations can include blankets, dog houses, dog lots, towels, bags of cedar, collars, leashes, toys, buckets, bowls, food, kitty litter, litter boxes and scratching posts. If you can provide any of these items, the animals will thank you!

Has a friend lost a beloved pet? A thoughtful memorial gift is a nice gesture of friendship for a grieving pet owner. Upon receipt of a donation, a card will be sent that states: "A donation has been made in memory of (the pet's name) to Friends In Need Animal Rescue."
