If you have an hour or a day, the animals need your help.
Volunteering to help animals in need can include:
- taking them on a walk (which is a great exercise program for the walker, too!)
- helping with feeding and watering
- socializing them by petting and talking to them
- providing foster care in your home.
Other volunteer opportunities may include helping with fundraisers. We always need more hands to help. We hold road blocks, yard sales, concessions, and much more.
Perhaps you are part of another organization that could sponsor a fundraiser to donate the proceeds to help the animals. For example, a Brownie Scout Troop from Salisbury held a fundraiser and donated the proceeds to the animals. If you are part of an organization, we will be happy to come and speak before your group.
